A 42-year-old traditional herbalist, Faziru Adam Mukulu, a resident of Kamigo - Buyengo Town Council, Jinja District, was arrested on November 28, 2024, for allegedly attempting to abduct a four-year-old girl in Namulesa, Jinja City. Mukulu was apprehended as the other suspect remains on the run. According to reports, the suspects were traveling on a motorcycle (registration number (UFT 448M) when they reached Namulesa Trading Centre along the Jinja-Kamuli road. They attempted to lure the child with chapati and biscuits, with the purported intent to abduct her for ritual sacrifice. the residents informed Mafubira police station officers to arrest him immediately.
